About the Adams

Andrew’s Testimony:
I grew up as a Navy brat, with both of my parents in the Navy, until my mom was discharged when I was 5 years old. At 6 years old, I was led through a prayer of salvation, but I did not understand what Heaven, Hell, salvation, or damnation were. When I was 9 years old, God showed me through a sermon at church that I had not been saved, and I needed to settle my eternal state. I talked to the pastor and my dad after the church service, and they showed me from God’s Word how God has gifted me salvation through Christ. I received Christ as my Savior and was baptized the next year.
When I was 16 years old, I had already decided I was going to be an Aeronautical Engineer (engineers who work on jets and airplanes), and I excelled in math and science. My love of math and science plummeted going into summer at 16 years old. When I got to Youth Camp in Goldendale, Washington, God pressed on my heart that He was calling me to be a missionary. I answered the call and started praying about where He would want me to go, both for college and the mission field.
God eventually led me to the Crown College. During my second year, Dr. Clarence Sexton had groupings of flags for each state and region of the US laid out across the chapel area. He had the students select a region to pray for specifically, and I prayed about where God would have me focus my prayers. God’s answer was New England, so I went to that corner of the chapel area to pray for two semesters. I took two mission trips to New England with Pastor Chris DiGiacomo, pastor of Lifeline Baptist Church in Haverhill, MA, in 2021 for 2 weeks and 2022 for 4 months. God cemented in me that He would have me go preach the Gospel and church-plant in New England.
Naomi’s Testimony:
I grew up at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, North Carolina, in a deacon’s home. I made a profession of faith at 5 years old, but realized I was not truly saved when I was 12 years old. My mom showed me in God’s Word about assurance of salvation, and I received Christ as my Savior that night. I was baptized at 5 years old, and when I was a senior in high school, I understood that I needed to be baptized as a saved person.
At 16 years old, I surrendered to be a ministry wife in whatever capacity God willed at the Power of 2 Youth Camp in Georgia. I went to the Crown College in Powell, Tennessee, for a degree in Health Science, where I met Andrew and surrendered to be a missionary’s wife.
Andrew and Naomi:
The two of us met at the Crown College in August 2022, while in a church service at Temple Baptist Church. We got engaged just before I graduated in 2023, and waited for Naomi to graduate before getting married. We got married in May 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, North Carolina, and had our first son, Joseph, in 2025. We’ve been able to minister at our home church for the whole of 2025, and we started deputation in January of 2026.
